This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
- 1 Timothy 1:15
Welcome to the website of the Southern Presbyterian Church.
The Southern Presbyterian Church is a body of believers in Tasmania, Australia striving to faithfully serve the Lord Jesus Christ in love to Him and one another.
Something about us:
We are Presbyterian in church structure and Reformed in doctrine.
We believe that the Bible is the very Word of God, our rule for faith and practice. Our pulpit Bible is the Authorised Version.
We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
We hold to the regulative principle of worship, and the unaccompanied singing of psalms in public worship.
We warmly welcome you to join us in our public worship and to search the Scriptures with us to understand how God requires us to live. We invite you to join us to serve the Lord together that we may glorify and enjoy Him together.
Where do we meet?
When do we meet?
Please note: On 15 March, no worship services will be held at Timsbury Road. Instead, they will be held at the Girl Guides Orana Campsite as part of the church camp. We would love to have you join us there for the Sunday services at 9:30am and 1:30pm, as well as the lunch in between (there are no fees!). Alternatively, there will be livestreams of the services on YouTube. The campsite’s address is 146 Roches Beach Rd, Roches Beach TAS 7170
